Cooper was dropped off at the shelter at a year old, a dog no one thought would succeed as a service dog. As soon as he came home though, his intelligence and personality shone through. He practically fell into working, learning his tasks extremely quickly, and proving to be a very solid, hard-working service dog. He’s saved my life more times than I can count, which is why I think he deserves the title of American Hero Dog.
Aside from working, Cooper loves to play agility, FastCAT, obedience, and learn lots and lots of tricks. He’s a campus favorite when he comes to school with me- more people know his name than mine! He really brings so much light into not only my life, but the life of every person he meets.
